Senior Researcher at the Research and Innovation Directorate (FCRB/Hospital Clínic Barcelona). Since 2000, he has worked on the definition, evaluation and implementation of new models for the provision of health services, with special emphasis on integrated care models, often using information technology. He has participated in numerous R & D projects funded by the EU around these topics, often as a member of the coordination team.
Past-chair of the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC); member of the co-ordinators’ team in the Action Group B3 (Integrated Care) European Innovation Partnership on Active and Health Ageing.
Lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
