Caroline de Beukelaar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Caroline’s current position is Manager The Greenhouse at AZ Groeninge in Kortrijk. (The Greenhouse is the hospitals innovation hub). In this capacity, she leads the growth in 3 domains: research& development, innovation and education & expertise, ensuring high-quality standards, and overseeing the financial aspects. Her responsibilities also include enhancing the hospital’s profile within the hospital network and nationally, fostering collaborations, and managing teams involved in innovation initiatives. Notably, she initiated the integration of clinical data science within AZ Groeninge, highlighting her commitment to innovation and advancement in healthcare.

Prior to her current role, Caroline held various positions within several pharmaceutical companies. During this period, she demonstrated a deep understanding of patient and disease management needs, leading to the development and implementation of innovative projects aimed at optimizing patient care both within and outside hospital settings. Her ability to forge strong relationships with external stakeholders and her adeptness in project management contributed significantly to the success of her initiatives.

Caroline’s educational background is equally impressive. She holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Master’s in Business Economics from KULeuven, where she also completed an Aggregates Program.
