« I have been involved in the telecare/telehealth (TEC/E-Health) industry for over 35 years and believe that technology can play a valuable role in delivering person centred healthcare
I have been working with YOURmeds as a Business Consultant since 2018 and in October 2020 decided to strengthen our relationship and join as their Director European Partnerships.
My professional career started however in a totally different area! Back in the 70’s and 80’s I used to be an International Showjumper, competing for Holland in major international tournaments, such as the European Championships. On an individual level, I have also won many tournaments such as the first Philps Derby and the individual Benelux Championships.
In 1985 I helped create a Dutch entity to market and distribute dispersed and grouped alarm-communication systems and monitoring centers in Benelux for Tunstall, the leading player in the UK market. Having achieved market leading positions the business was sold back to Tunstall UK, where I continued to develop the business as their Benelux MD. When I left that company in 2014 the business regarded as the market leader Benelux.
I became an international business consultant where the link with one of my clients, YOURmeds, started. »
